October 04, 2022 - Serving the country, PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (Pertamedika IHC) has 17 hospitals spread across various cities and regencies in East Java. This state-owned hospital network has health technology services and facilities to serve public health needs with the best standards and quality.

"We understand the importance of public access to complete and quality health services. To strengthen the Pertamedika IHC network, we will also synergize with health facilities to create a health ecosystem in Indonesia," explained the Director of Operations of Pertamedika IHC, drg. Mira Dyah Wahyuni, MARS.

To confirm this, drg Mira Dyah visited Gatoel Hospital in Mojokerto last week. Gatoel Hospital, established in 1927, has proven itself as one of the most reliable hospitals in the East Java region. Gatoel Hospital was established by PTPN X through PT Nusantara Medika Utama to provide access to health services for PTPN X employees and families, as well as the people of Mojokerto. After the PBM IHC acquisition in 2020, Gatoel Hospital experienced the latest resources, facilities, and technology development.

The Gatoel Hospital has excellent facilities for Trauma Center and Hemodialysis, other than the other facilities such as outpatient and inpatient polyclinics.

drg. Mira revealed that Gatoel Hospital is one of the strong links in Indonesia's national health security system. Fronted by experienced health personnel, including specialist and sub-specialist doctors with more than 20 specialization fields.

"In the future, Gatoel Hospital must improve digitalization technology in the health sector. Therefore, services' ease and convenience received by the community will be better," explained drg. Mira Dyah.

IHC Management's working visit to Gatoel Hospital is part of a Management Walk Through (MWT) series, a routine activity to observe firsthand the conditions and practices. During such visits, hospital management can be monitored and receive input to improve its operations.
