SOE Hospital Holding Adds Health Facilities in Jakarta

October 12, 2022 - PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (Pertamedika IHC), as the Holding of an SOE Hospital, continues to improve its services to the community by adding new facilities in several affiliated hospitals in the IHC Group network. One of them is by building the MERIAL Tower in the PELNI Hospital area, Jl. KS Tubun No. 92-94, Jakarta.

Topping Off activity was held at the MERIAL Tower of PELNI Hospital on Thursday (6/10). The event was attended by the Medical Director of Pertamedika IHC, dr. Asep Saepul Rohmat, Sp.PD, KGEH, FINASIM; Senior Vice President of Strategic Development of PT PELNI (Persero), Andi Samsul Hadi; President Commissioner of PT RS PELNI, Drs. Ganefi, M.Bus; President Director of PT RS PELNI, dr. Dewi Fankhuningdyah, MPH; President Director of Yakes Pertamina, dr. Widodo, as well as other guests.

The MERIAL Tower construction aims to increase the existing PELNI Hospital services' capacity and development. Therefore, PELNI Hospital can handle more advanced cases with a larger capacity and provide a different experience to patients and their families. PELNI Hospital serves increasingly complex cases, so capacity and service competence addition is deemed necessary to continue to grow in helping to improve the Indonesian people's health.

MERIAL Tower was built on a ​​3,295 M2 area with a total building area of ​​34,321 M2. It consists of a 12-story building equipped with two bunkers utilized for radiotherapy services. Later on, there will be 10 Operating Rooms consisting of 7 General Operations + 3 Eye Special Operation Rooms, 3 Cathlab rooms, Diagnostic Center services, Physiotherapy services equipped with a Gym, Jogging Track, and Meditation Room, as well as an additional 264-bed treatment room capacity.

MERIAL Tower has four excellent services (Center Of Excellence). Namely, Oncology (Cancer Center), Cardiovascular Center, Eye Center, and Neurology Center. By cooperating with KSO ADHI-APG as the building construction executor, the project, which currently has 51% construction progress, is planned to start operating in May 2023.

The MERIAL Tower's construction cannot be separated from PT Pertamina's (Persero) full support as the parent company of IHC. This Topping Off activity also marks a new step taken by IHC in realizing national health resilience.

Medical Director of Pertamedika IHC, dr. Asep Saepul Rohmat, Sp.PD, KGEH, FINASIM, said that the MERIAL Tower was built as IHC's commitment in responding to the current community needs for high-quality health services that continue to increase, along with advances in development in health technology. “PELNI Hospital, under IHC auspices, always strives to provide high-quality services with a personal care services concept. Thus, it is hoped that the services presented will have the best quality that can support patient comfort. The rapid information technology advancement has also increased people's expectations to obtain the best health services as one of the steps to realize IHC's vision, namely realizing national health resilience," he concluded.

On the same occasion, the President Director of PT RS PELNI, dr. Dewi Fankhuningdyah, MPH, is optimistic that Merial Tower, which is one of the nation's children's works, can improve the health services quality for Indonesian people.
