Pertamina's Directors Ensure Smooth Operation of Plaju Refinery During Nataru

Palembang, December 30, 2021 - Director of Logistics and Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero) Mulyono inspected PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (PT KPI) Refinery Unit (RU) III Plaju Wednesday (29/12), to ensure refinery activities and operations run normally and optimally during Christmas to New Year (Nataru).

During the visit, Mulyono who was accompanied by Senior Vice President (SVP) of Logistic Integration & Optimization, Afandi, appreciated the Pertamina Plaju Refinery which recorded a positive performance throughout 2021. "Looking at the performance of fellow workers, it is already extraordinary, considering that the Plaju refinery was about to be closed due to losses," he said, referring to RU III Plaju as a fighting refinery.

Mulyono, who is also in charge of the Nataru Task Force, gave encouragement and motivation to all levels of management and workers of PT KPI RU III Plaju in facing the Nataru holiday standby. He asked for all refinery activities to continue operating smoothly.

Moreover, Mulyono reminded the importance of efficiency in running business processes. "Do something new, you don't have to do something that didn't exist before, but you can polish the existing one to make it more effective and efficient in business processes," he continued.

His arrival was welcomed by the General Manager (GM) of PT KPI RU III Plaju, Edy Januari Utama in the GM Conference Room (CRGM). On that occasion, the management of PT KPI RU III Plaju and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel were also present.

The management of PT KPI RU III and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Sumbagsel Region in their presentations are ready to support and launch the Nataru Task Force agenda. Edy assured that the Pertamina Plaju refinery would continue to operate optimally during Nataru. "We are on standby to carry out refinery activities optimally to support the Nataru Task Force," said Edy.

Meanwhile, Mulyono also reminded the importance of maintaining and increasing the synergy between subholdings to maintain the smooth supply of fuel and LPG to the community.**
