Pertamina Gas Subholding Maintains Sufficient Natural Gas Services During Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022

Jakarta, December 28, 2021 - PGN, as Pertamina Gas Subholding, maintains the infrastructure network, supply, and natural gas services during Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022 (Nataru 2021) holidays through the 2021 Nataru Task Force. PGN continues to serve and maintain energy distribution to be enjoyed by customers without worrying during holidays.

Faris Aziz, PGN's Director of Sales and Operations, stated that the assets, networks, and natural gas supply were sufficient for all customers. 

"To maintain the balance of gas supply and demand, PGN Group will optimize the arrangement of operating patterns from suppliers first by integrating pipeline and non-pipeline CNG and LNG infrastructure," said Faris (28/12/2021).

With the Sales Operation Region (SOR), divided into three operating areas in Sumatra, West and East Java, North Kalimantan, and Sorong, PGN's services will continue to be on standby 24/7. PGN also runs a non-stop monitoring and control scheme.

"From our monitoring, the gas balance of each area or region can change according to customer needs and gas availability. For this reason, PGN also anticipates opportunities for increased demand for natural gas, especially from power plants," added Faris,
