Pertamedika IHC Mini ICU Ambulance Ready to Launch to G20 Bali

Jakarta, November 9, 2022 - Not all health facilities’ ambulances in Indonesia meet the criteria for escorting/assisting a Very Very Important Person (VVIP). One of them is owned by PT Pertamina Bina Medika - Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (Pertamedika IHC), which will be brought to the G20 Presidency held on the Island of the Gods, Bali, 15-16 November 2022. The ambulance is trusted to serve the needs of Heads of State and VVIP invitees in G20 with the G20 VVIP Medical Team from Pertamedika IHC, under the coordination of the State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia.

Pertamedika IHC, as a state-owned hospital holding, supports the G20 continuity by managing/deploying 33 VVIP Medical Teams from November 11, 2022, starting with Simulation activities or Evacuation Rehearsals at the event location and at the hotel of each country's delegation. On this occasion, IHC also placed a 2021 Ambulance Rescue Mercy Spinter. With a sturdy appearance, the ambulance dimensions are 2.8 meters high, 6.9 meters long, and 2.3 meters wide, with 1.9 meters of cabin space. With these dimensions, it is easier for the Medical Team to carry out medical interventions and actions in the ambulance.

The ambulance is unique because it is equipped with CCTV cameras and GPS Tracker that can be monitored 24 hours from the Emergency Room and Command Room to communicate in two directions with officers at the hospital. Meanwhile, the oxygen capacity in this sophisticated ambulance is around 6000 liters. Thus it is adequate for breathing apparatus (ventilator) if needed. Meanwhile, the 200 Watts inverter is used to supply medical equipment in the ambulance. Mini ICU is complete with equipment such as ventilators for children and adults, defibrillator monitors, and electric suction is also available to meet the required medical equipment.

The ambulance facility is completed with a reliable ambulance driver certified in Defensive Driving and Basic Life Support or efforts to anticipate patients with respiratory or cardiac arrest.

Medical Director of Pertamedika IHC, dr. Asep Saepul Rohmat, Sp.PD, KGEH, FINASIM, said that the sophisticated ambulance is one of the 33 types prepared by Pertamedika IHC. Besides modern ambulances, Pertamedika IHC also deploys around 132 medical personnel, consisting of reliable and experienced specialist doctors, general practitioners, and nurses in several state events to support the G20 Presidency's success.

"The Indonesian government has trusted the medical personnel and facilities to oversee the Heads of State and Heads of Government of various countries as well as the invitations that have been determined during the event period," explained dr. Asep on the release of the ambulance and the VVIP Medical Team at the Pertamina Central Hospital (RSPP), Jakarta.

Similarly, the President Director of RSPP, dr. Theryoto, M.Kes, Sp.Ok, MARS, added that the medical personnel from the RSPP will not reduce the service quality at the hospital. RSPP services will be maximized, following the reliable medical and non-medical personnel, as well as using the latest technology to remain serving high-quality standards.

Pertamedika IHC is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) engaging in health services. The company is also the parent company of state-owned hospitals, which currently house 75 hospitals and 143 health clinics throughout Indonesia.**
