Making Positive Achievements in 2022, Nusantara Regas Records USD 346.16 Million in Revenues

Jakarta, February 10, 2023 - As part of Pertamina's Gas Subholding in managing the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) business, PT Nusantara Regas (NR) has succeeded in achieving positive performance in 2022. NR has successfully delivered gas of 86.03 million MMBTU and earned USD 346.16 million in revenues.

From the 2022 revenue, NR earned a net profit of USD 26.06 million (unaudited). This achievement exceeded the 2022 KPI target or around 101.9% of KPI target.

NR's positive performance was supported by its main business in receiving, storing, and regasifying LNG through the Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Jakarta Bay and the Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) Muara Karang, Jakarta. This gas is intended for 60% energy needs for the PLN power plant in the Jakarta and West Java areas.

NR is committed to always be ready to contribute and dependable to fulfill energy needs in the future," explained the President Director of NR, Harry Budi Sidharta, in the 2023 Town Hall Meeting (THM) themed "Reliable For The Future" on Wednesday (8/2/2023).

Besides revealing the company's performance achievement in 2022, Harry also presented the 2023 NR work plan to the Board of Commissioners and all employees of Nusantara Regas.

Harry revealed that in 2023, NR plans to realize new business developments in the Jakarta, West Java, and Papua areas while utilizing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The business expansion efforts are aimed at meeting the demand for natural gas energy in Indonesia.

In this THM, the Board of Commissioners also expressed its commitment to support NR's business development. "One of the keys to a sustainable business is fostering good relations with stakeholders and innovating business schemes. Thus, it creates new opportunities for business continuity," said the Main Commissioner of NR, Heru Setiawan.

The Town Hall Meeting also held the AKHLAK NR competition attended by all workers by presenting programs that reflected AKHLAK behavior that could be applied in the work environment. The program will be executed and monitored during 2023. "Building MORALS is the SOE's main value. One must start from oneself and do not let it become a mere jargon. The workers' ideas are simple but effective," said The Director of Finance and Business Support of NR, Joko Heru.

Finally, Harry added, "NR, as part of Pertamina Gas Subholding, is ready to continue the positive performance trend. The business expansion to Papua is expected to support natural gas utilization acceleration in Indonesia. Particularly, the natural gas use in power plants can reduce fuel subsidies and encourage using more environmentally friendly energy."**
