Ensuring Sufficient Petrol Station Supply and Services Ahead of Ramadan, Directors of Pertamina Altogether Inspected the Field

Jakarta, April 2, 2022 - To ensure the readiness and availability of fuel in the field before Ramadan 1443 H/2022 AD, the Board of Directors of PT Pertamina (Persero) visited several gas stations and fuel terminal facilities in several areas across Indonesia on April 2, 2022.

The visit was simultaneously carried out by all Pertamina Directors, namely Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) in Jambi and South Sumatra, Mulyono, Director of Logistics and Infrastructure in several areas in North Sumatra, Iman Rachman, Director of Portfolio Strategy and Business Development (SPPU) in Riau, Dedi Sunardi, Director of Business Support in East Kalimantan, M. Erry Sugiharto, Director of Human Resources in South and Central Kalimantan, and Emma Sri Martini, Director of Finance in South Sulawesi. In addition, Alfian Nasution, Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga also visited the areas of West Sumatra, Lampung and Bengkulu.

On that occasion, Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, Police Chief Inspector General of Jambi Regional, directly visited several petrol stations to ensure excellent service was provided to consumers in the Jambi area.

"We ensure that the fuel supply goes well ahead of Ramadan. With the increase in business activities in Jambi, we are also anticipating the need for fuel," Nicke said.

Nicke also hopes that the available subsidized fuel will be right on target. For this reason, Pertamina, with stakeholders, went directly to the field to monitor fuel distribution. Therefore, it could arrive and be realized properly.

Meanwhile, Director of Logistics and Infrastructure, Mulyono, who is also the Head of Pertamina's RAFI Task Force, during his visit to several petrol stations and Fuel Terminal (FT) Medan Group, stated that his party would prepare more services in anticipation of increased homecoming traffic and fuel demand. It includes standby petrol stations, standby tank trucks, motorists, pocket petrol stations, and rest areas equipped with health facilities for travelers at several points along the homecoming route.

"We have also formed a special task force for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI Task Force) to ensure the smooth supply and distribution of fuel and LPG to the community," he said.

The RAFI Task Force team will be on duty from April 11 to May 10, 2022. The RAFI Task Force team will coordinate with relevant agencies such as the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), the Ministry of Transportation, the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), TNI, and the Police.

In addition, Mulyono said, his party ensures that subsidized diesel stocks are sufficient for more than 20 days. Pertamina continues to maintain the supply and distribution of subsidized Solar to the public. Even though the subsidized Solar quota as of February 2022 has exceeded by 10 percent nationally.

Pertamina also appreciated the success of the Indonesian National Police for their success in uncovering the misuse of subsidized fuel occurring in several regions in Indonesia.

The Pertamina Board of Directors also greeted Pertamina's loyal customers at the petrol station. They also appreciate the tank truck crew (AMT) and the petrol station operator on duty.
