According to the Ministry of Transportation's data, there will be a 45% spike in the number of travelers during the Christmas and New Year holidays in 2023-2024 compared to the previous year.

"We continue to coordinate intensively regarding the policies issued with various ministries, agencies, and relevant stakeholders. Hopefully, the movement of the public during the holiday season can be carried out in an orderly, smooth, and safe manner, as we all hope," said Minister Sumadi.

We see there are several areas affected, whether it's floods, landslides, and all of this becomes material for us to discuss so that we can collectively solve any problems that may arise," explained Police General Listyo Sigit on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
