Mataram, April 10, 2023 - To ensure sufficient fuel & LPG supply during Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr for the people of NTB, the President Commissioner of Patra Niaga, Ego Syahrial, checked Pertamina's facilities (sarfas) in Lombok on Wednesday - Thursday, (5-6/4). The infrastructure checked includes the Lombok International Airport Aircraft Filling Depot, the Sekotong LPG Depot, and the Ampenan Fuel Terminal. Also present at the event were the Commissioner of Patra Niaga, Anwar; Director of Land Engineering and Infrastructure of Patra Niaga, Eduward Adolf Kawi; Executive GM of Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus, Dwi Puja Ariestya; Vice President of LPG Sales, Putut Andrianto; and Vice President of HSSE, Johan Kurniawan.

This checking is carried out to ensure all fuel and LPG distribution facilities are in good condition and fit for use, as well as to ensure that all Pertamina personnel and third parties who distribute fuel and LPG carry out the safety aspects maximally.

On this occasion, Ego Syahrial received an explanation of fuel and LPG supply readiness ahead of the Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H, monitored the facilities, and checked the LPG availability randomly at several LPG bases in the city of Mataram, including the Mila Cell LPG Base in Pagesangan and the Wayan Jagre LPG Base in Pagutan Timur Mataram.

During this visit, Ego Syahrial gave enthusiasm and insight to workers down to the smallest units to have the spirit to maintain safety and distribution conditions in standby condition so that they have the same enthusiasm as the Commissioners and Directors of Pertamina Patra Niaga. "During the times leading up to and after Eid Al-Fitr, we demand that there should not be a fuel and LPG shortage and ensure safety standards and culture are considered and implemented by all workers and work partners," said Ego.

Ego Syahrial, as the President Commissioner appointed by Patra Niaga shareholders, also wants LPG distribution in the future to be more targeted. "Subsidies are only for the underprivileged. Hence, I am here to see the proper LPG subsidy implementation as has been implemented for fuel. Currently, there are no restrictions, but along with the socialization that is carried out, we hope people will get used to it. Therefore, the subsidy arrangements will be precise," Ego added.

In line with what Ego said, the Executive GM of Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus, Dwi Puja Ariestya, emphasized that Pertamina will provide extra services during this Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period. His party continues to check and ensure the readiness of all Sarfas and distribution agencies in the Jatimbalinus operating area are in optimal condition ahead of this moment. "During the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods, Lombok is one of the concentrations of homecoming celebrations and tourist destinations that must be prioritized," said the man who is familiarly called Ari.

Pertamina predicts that in the NTB Province, there will be an increase in fuel consumption by 10% for Gasoline from the daily rate of March of 1,658 kiloliters/day. Then for Gasoil (Diesel Fuel), there is predicted a decrease in consumption of 21% from the daily 593 kilo liters per day. For LPG consumption, there is predicted a consumption increase of 6% from the daily consumption of 428 metric tons/day, and for Avtur there will be a consumption increase of 5% from the daily consumption of 52.5-kilo liters.

On this basis, for the NTB region, Pertamina has increased LPG fuel stocks by 10-15% and increased petrol station service hours at certain hours. Moreover, to add to the comfort of the Eid al-Fitr moment, Pertamina will increase the supply of 3kg LPG (extra dropping) in the 10 days before Eid Al-Fitr by 1,999 metric tons.

"We have also coordinated with the local government, police, military, banking, telecommunications companies, and all other relevant stakeholders to anticipate and ensure the smooth running of the Eid al-Fitr moment later. Therefore, we hope that the NTB people will continue to consume fuel and LPG in moderation," stated Ari.**
