Appreciated by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, 13 Innovation by Pertamina Officers Win the 2022 Dharma Karya Energi Award

Jakarta, October 6, 2022 - Pertamina Officers' innovative work is appreciated by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. This appreciation was given at the 77th Mining and Energy Anniversary event organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources at the Chairul Saleh Building, Sarulla Room, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

A total of 13 innovations by Pertamina Officers won the 2022 Dharma Karya Energi award for various innovations that have been carried out in various sectors. These innovations have been implemented in various Pertamina subsidiaries to support the Company in carrying out the Government's mandate in maintaining national energy security and independence.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif, said this award is an appreciation to individuals or institutions/companies who are very instrumental in the energy and mineral development and discoveries. These innovations had a significant impact on national development, especially in the energy and mineral resources sector.

"EMR must be tough and not give up in facing challenges, and we must be able to innovate, move agile, and adaptive in carrying out tasks professionally," said Arifin.

According to Arifin, the EMR sector policy implementation moves dynamically and must keep pace with world developments that are so massive.

"I hope every EMR person can work and improve performance through innovation quickly, carefully, and productively. Therefore, the ESDM sector can contribute to economic growth," he added.

SVP of Research & Technology Innovation of Pertamina Persero, Oki Muraza, said he was very happy because Pertamina officers' work was appreciated by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

“Alhamdulillah, our fellow researchers at RTI succeeded in making a demulsifier through PC PROVE PDA (Pertadem's Double Action) and today we witness an award from the government for innovation and implementation in Pertamina's field. With this innovation, Pertamina can reduce chemical imports. Hopefully, next year, our work can be commercialized,” he said.

Astri Agustiana Sari from PC PROVE Go Foam said this award is a great honor. She hopes that the innovations provided by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional will not only contribute to Pertamina's, but also Indonesia's progress.

The 13 innovation officers who received awards were PC PROVE PDA (PT Pertamina EP), FT PROVE Thickening Team, (PT Elnusa TBK), PC PROVE Waterproof (DPPBU Adi Soemarmo Solo), PC PROVE Krayan Reborn (PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan), PC PROVE Suparman (PHE), PC PROVE Ceria (Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit II Dumai), PC PROVE CuCuBa (RU II Plaju), PC PROVE Go Foam (RU Balongan), PC-PROVE Original (PGE), FT-PROVE Turbine (PGE), FT-PROVE UPTO (PGE), Auto Shutter (PGN), PASTI SIP (PGN and Pertagas).**
