JAKARTA, December 2, 2020 - Ahead of its 63rd anniversary, Pertamina provides donations totaling IDR 3.5 billion in various orphanages and foundations around Pertamina's operational areas. This activity, which was attended by the board of directors and commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero), was carried out virtually with orphanage children, boarding school students, people with disabilities, and nursing homes for the Energize Your Soul event, Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, said that the donations given were a form of gratitude for everything Pertamina had served for the country for 63 years. There are 105 foundations such as orphanage foundations, social homes, nursing homes, and Islamic boarding schools involved in this activity. Also, this activity engages with the Religious Body at Pertamina for the distribution.

"In this event, we provide donations, while Pertamina officers also carry out volunteerism. We can see online that there are social activities in education and donations in 11 locations. Of course, the covid protocol is still applied, and we also donate IDR 3.5 billion to 105 foundations. I want to thank the Religious Body for helping distribute this aid," she said.

Nicke hopes that Pertamina's donations can motivate recipients to be more enthusiastic in learning to be useful for the community. She also asked for prayers that Pertamina could provide even better services to society and industry in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, President Commissioner of Pertamina, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, gave Pertamina Officers his appreciation for this activity. He believed Pertamina was very consistent in its social responsibility.

He hopes that this sharing activity can make Pertamina more advanced and more concerned about fellow human beings. "Hopefully, we will continue to be supported by the prayers of fathers, mothers, orphanages, and the Foundation. Thank you, Officer, for caring about the special needs in nursing homes and foundations," he concluded. **
