Pertamina Prepares Alternative Fuel Supply to Dieng

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) prepares two alternative solutions to solve recent distribution challenge to supply to Dieng Plateua area.
The fuel distribution problem from Maos Depo to Dieng petrol station (SPBU) 44.534.04 for the past few days happened because of the broken main road connecting Wonosobo and Dieng. Pertamina is trying to solve the problem through two solutions. First solution is to increase the fuel supply from Maos Depo to nearest SPBU that is Krasak SPBU 44.563.03 in Wonosobo. Second solution is to reach Dieng SPBU 44.534.04 through alternative road.
"For Dieng SPBU, Pertamina continue trying to delivery fuel stock by diverting stock from Pengapon through the alternative route Kajen - Karang Kobar - Kalibening, while waiting for the Wonosobo - Dieng main route to recover," Vice President Corporate Communication of Pertamina Mochamad Harun said.
To implement the plan, Pertamina will prepare smaller tank trucks with capacity of 5 kiloliter (KL), which are more suitable for the rather tricky route.
"Usually we deploy tank truck with 16 KL capacity. However, considering the safety factor of this rather dangerous alternative route, we will deploy smaller 5-KL tank trucks to suit the terrain."
