PERTAMINA is a State Owned oil & gas company (National Oil Company), established on December 10, 1957 under the name PT PERMINA. In 1961 the company changed its name to PN PERMINA and after the merger with PN PERTAMIN in 1968 it became PN PERTAMINA. With the enactment of Law 8 of 1971 the company became PERTAMINA. This name persisted until after PERTAMINA changed its legal status to PT PERTAMINA (PERSERO) on October 9, 2003.

Pertamax
Pertamax is unleaded gasoline contain completed with the latest generation of additive that will clean Intake Valve Port Fuel Injector and Engine Combustion Chamber from Carbon Deposit and has a92 RON (Research Octane Number) and also recommended for gasoline fuel vehicles with high compression.
PERTAMAX
Pertamax is high octane unleaded fuel; result from Pertamina’s product improvement. The new formula is made from high quality of material ensuring your vehicle’s engine work better, stronger, “knock free”, low emission and save your fuel consumption.
Pertamax intended for vehicles that require the use of unleaded high octane fuel. Pertamax also recommended for vehicles manufactured after 1990, especially vehicles that use technology similar with electronic fuel injection and catalytic converters.
For user of vehicles produced under the 1990 but want to increase the engine performance can use this product.
Pertamax Advantages
Pertamax contain 92 octane with an oxidation stability and content of olefin, aromatic, benzene on low level that produced a more complete combustion in the engine.
Completed with additive generation 5 contain detergency characteristic ensuring fuel injector, carburetor, intake valve and combustion chamber keep clean to maintain optimum engine performance. |
Pertamax is not used leaded anymore and other metals which are often use on other fuel to boost up octane number, so Pertamax is friendly to the environment.
