Lube Base Oil

Description

Lube Base Oil is a hydrocarbon compound which is produced from the distillation process of vacuum long residue at Lube Oil Complex I/II/III at PERTAMINA’S Processing Unit IV Cilacap.

There are four types of the lube base oil :

  1. HVI-60 or SN-150
  2. HVI-95 or SN-200
  3. HVI-160S or SN-500
  4. HVI-160S or SN-500

Production Capacity

The lube base oil productions after debottlenecking are mentioned below :

  1. HVI-60 = 69,400 tons/year
  2. HVI-95 = 108,500 tons/year
  3. HVI-160s = 104,600 tons/year
  4. HVI-650 = 145,500 tons/year.

Notes :

  1. HVI = High Viscosity Index
  2. SN = Solvent Neutral
  3. BS = Bright Stock

Application/Benefit

Lube Base Oil is used as material for making of lubricating oil. This materials is blended and added with additive to be lube oil such as "mesran" and other brand name found in the market.
