Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 Promotes Sustainable Living, A Manifestation of Love for Earth and Humanity

Jakarta, November 27, 2023 - Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023, which includes the humanitarian and environmental social aid handover, was successfully organized by PT Pertamina (Persero) on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

President Director of PT Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, explained that Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023, which is part of Pertamina's 66th-anniversary celebration on December 10, is a significant moment for Pertamina to encourage society to save the Earth, preserve the environment, and foster love for fellow humans.

Nicke emphasized that it was demonstrated by allocating the entire proceeds from ticket sales to Pertamina's Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) program for Earth conservation initiatives and humanitarian efforts, including planting four million mangrove trees, the Self-Reliant Village Energy Program for renewable energy development in 67 villages, and donations for the people of Palestine.

"Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 is not only about running but also signifies giving back to the planet and humanity," Nicke said.

Nicke said with the end of the running event and all the activities, Pertamina expressed gratitude for the support of all parties involved before and during the event.

"May the next Pertamina Eco RunFest contribute even more to our planet," Nicke concluded.
