One Decade of Pertamina Eco Runfest, Pertamina Invites People to Embrace an Eco-Friendly Lifestyle

Jakarta, October 9, 2023 - Following the success of the EcoRun and EcoFest events in 2022, Pertamina once again will host the 10th Pertamina Eco RunFest at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on November 26, 2023. This year's event marks the one decade celebration of Pertamina Eco RunFest. With the "Energizing Your Move" theme, Pertamina aims to attract 16,500 participants to embrace an eco-friendly lifestyle through various environmentally informative activities.

"With this sustainability concept, Pertamina invites Eco Run and Eco Fest participants to explore and engage in various art installations and workshops using recycled materials," said Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso.

Various activities will be held, including the Eco Run, a running event with various categories, the Eco Market showcasing local products and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) supported by Pertamina, as well as art installations and workshops using recycled materials.

During Eco Fest, Pertamina will organize an Energizing Music Festival featuring musicians from different generations, such as Raisa, Tulus, D'Masiv, Yura Yunita, Andien, Kunto Aji, Lyodra, Afgan, Efek Rumah Kaca, Ziva Magnolya, Armada, Juicy Luicy, Idgitaf, Fourtwnty, and Project Pop.

EcoRun consists of four categories. Tickets are already available for purchase through the MyPertamina app, with participation fees starting from IDR 250,000 for the 1.5K Family Run category, IDR 200,000 for the 5K Fun Run category, IDR 350,000 for the 10K Race category, and IDR 450,000 for the 21K Half Marathon category.

"Participants will also receive a race pack, which consist of an exclusive jersey, a shoe bag, a BIB (runner's number), and an exclusive medal on the event day. Additionally, for participants who win in the 10K and 21K categories, prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah will be given," Fadjar explained.

For Ecofest, the public can purchase Presale tickets for IDR 125,000 and Normal tickets for IDR 175,000 through the MyPertamina app. "We encourage the public to take advantage of the more favorable Presale prices," Fadjar added.

Moreover, participants could win attractive door prizes, and those who won in the 10K and 21K running categories will receive prizes totaling hundreds of millions of rupiah.
