Flooded with Visits, Ministers of Kabinet Indonesia Maju Appreciate Pertamina’s TJSL Program

West Manggarai, May 10, 2023 - On the first day of the ASEAN Summit 2023’s side event opening at Waterfront Labuan Bajo, Pertamina's booth featuring the TJSL program was flooded with visits from Ministers of Kabinet Indonesia Maju.

Among them were the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Minister of Trade, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, and the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. During their successive visits, the delegations expressed appreciation for Pertamina's Village Tourism program showcased in the exhibition, Bamboo Bicycles, and the presence of Pertamina's fostered MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) showcasing their flagship products.

"The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises guides MSMEs in Indonesia through the Rumah BUMN, Pertamina's Rumah BUMN has excellent products. This is one of the pearls among the fostered partners of Pertamina's Rumah BUMN in East Lombok," explained the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, to Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, who was present while wearing products woven by Pertamina's fostered tenun cloth MSME, on Tuesday (9/5).

Pertamina’s fostered partner promoted by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises is D'etnick, an MSME engaged in pearl jewelry production, which has been marketed online and offline. D'etnick was established in August 2015 and has collaborated with relevant agencies such as the Department of Fisheries and Marine Affairs in pearl cultivation development.

D'etnick's pearl handicrafts are authentic works by local artisans, made from Lombok pearls and silver, with ethnic designs based on local culture.

Moreover, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Angela Tanoesoedibjo, also expressed appreciation for the MSME products, as well as the TJSL program implemented by Pertamina. Not only that, but Angela also supported Bamboo Bicycles as environmentally friendly transportation.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, hopes that the valuable momentum given to MSMEs can be utilized effectively, considering that this event is attended by guests from various countries, which undoubtedly provide opportunities for fostered partners to introduce themselves and their potential to the world.

"With MESMEs’ various flagship products presented at this event, Pertamina strives to increase its fostered MSMEs’ branding," said Fadjar.

The showcased MSME products are of high quality with the best packaging and have gone through a curation process. It is done to attract the interest of both foreign guests and tourists to buy them and build a positive perception of MSME products, thus realizing global product promotion.
