President Director of Pertamina Inspects 3 Kg LPG Distribution in South Sumatera Region

Palembang, July 31, 2023 - Following her visit to Bali, President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, directly inspected the 3 Kg LPG distribution at several LPG stations in Palembang, South Sumatera, on Monday, July 31, 2023.

The visited LPG stations included H Rozali 3 Kg LPG Station, Wahyudi 3 Kg LPG Station, and Selawasi 3 Kg LPG Station. During the visit to H. Rozali 3 Kg LPG Station, Nicke engaged in a dialogue with the seller, inquiring about the LPG supply in the past few days.

"We sell an average of 100 cylinders per week, with no interruptions in delivery because we place orders regularly. There are no stock issues, and we directly sell to the public, not to retailers," said H. Rozali, the 3 kg LPG station owner.

Nicke Widyawati mentioned that she had previously checked the data through Pertamina's command center regarding 3 kg LPG stock availability in South Sumatera but chose to inspect directly to the field.

"I checked the data from the command center in South Sumatera. The supply and the stock are sufficient. However, we cannot rely solely on the command center. With the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VII, I directly inspected the field, and there is no shortage," she stated.

Therefore, Nicke urged the public not to engage in panic buying, as Pertamina ensures a sufficient and adequate supply while continuing to refine the registration process ID Cards (KTP) numbers to ensure subsidized LPG is distributed on target.

"After inspecting it directly, I can assure the public that the stock is always available and there are no queues. It means the public should know there is no need for panic buying. Secondly, starting in September, registration in Palembang will be started. With registration, the whole process will become easier. I kindly request the cooperation of people who buy subsidized LPG to register. We need to have data on who buys them. Therefore, the 3 kg LPG can be utilized by the right target," she said.

During the visit to Palembang, a Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VII, Yulian Gunhar, was also present. President Director of Pertamina was also accompanied by the Director of Regional Marketing of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina (Persero), Brahmantya S Poerwadi, and Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso.
