ELNUSA AGMS Consistently Distributes Dividends of 50% of Net Profit

Jakarta, June 7, 2023The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the fiscal year 2022, PT Elnusa Tbk has declared a dividend distribution of IDR 189 billion or 50% of net profit. The dividend percentage remains consistent with the previous year.

The AGMS of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA) for the fiscal year 2022 was held in a hybrid format on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

Corporate Secretary of Elnusa, Asmal Salam, stated that 2022 was the year that Elnusa successfully recovered from the pressures it faced since the 2020 pandemic. The company recorded a revenue of IDR12.3 trillion in 2022, a 51% Year on Year (YoY) increase from IDR8.1 trillion in 2021, with a net profit of IDR378 billion. This revenue grew substantially by 248% Year on Year (YoY) compared to IDR108 billion in 2021.

"These achievements were driven by growth in all the company's business segments, in line with the increased upstream oil and gas activities and the demand for industrial and public fuel," Asmal said.

Asmal further explained that based on these accomplishments, the AGMS approved a dividend distribution of IDR189 billion or 50% of the Net Profit for the fiscal year 2022. This distribution is equivalent to IDR25.90 per share, while the remainder will be retained earnings for the company.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso,  Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), expressed that the entire management and Elnusa team had worked hard, resulting in a positive performance that contributed to Pertamina's consolidated financial performance in 2022, which recorded a net profit of IDR56.6 billion.

"The subsidiary and affiliate companies’ positive performance has contributed to Pertamina's consolidated performance with an 86 percent increase," Fadjar explained.

Asmal Salam added, "During the AGMS, following the proposal from the Controlling Shareholder regarding changes in the Board of Directors, the AGMS approved the Board of Directors replacement. Elnusa replaced Tenny Elfrida, the Director of Human Resources & General Affairs, who has completed one term of office. The AGMS also approved the appointment of Hera Handayani as the new Director of Human Resources & General Affairs and reinstated Agus Prabowo as the President Commissioner of Elnusa.
